Do Monsteras need a pole or other support?
Usually yes, if you want them to mature well. Most common indoor Monsteras are natural climbers, and many make larger, more developed leaves when they can grow upward against a pole, plank, or similar support instead of trailing loose from a pot.
What light do Monsteras need indoors?
Bright filtered or bright indirect light is the sweet spot for most Monsteras. Too little light slows growth and keeps leaves smaller and more juvenile, while harsh direct sun can scorch softer foliage.
How should I water Monstera?
Most common indoor Monsteras do best when roughly the top 25–40% of the pot has dried before watering again. In cooler months or in lower light, let it go a bit further. The goal is a real partial dry-down, not permanently damp mix.
