Monstera obliqua (Peru)
This highly perforated Monstera obliqua sits at the very open, thin-leaved end of the species’ variation. Enormous irregular perforations remove much of the blade, leaving slender strips of green tissue around a fine vein framework.
The vine stays fine and flexible, and the extreme perforation appears from an early stage in this cultivated form. Narrow tissue bridges and delicate stems keep the plant slender even when the openings occupy most of the blade.
