Fine pale speckling sets Monstera adansonii 'Frozen Freckles' apart from the greener monkey mask forms. The leaves keep the slim adansonii outline and natural fenestrations, but the surface looks softly freckled, with a lighter scatter across the green blade. Its slender vine can be clipped to a support for a neater vertical line or left to cascade as the stems lengthen. Warm indoor conditions, bright filtered light and an airy root environment suit this variegated plant as new leaves open. Monstera leaves contain calcium oxalate crystals, so the plant belongs out of reach of chewing pets.
