Syngonium erythrophyllum 'Red Arrow' differs from most Syngonium through its narrow dark leaves and rich burgundy underside, creating strong contrast even when the plant is simply viewed from the side. It stays relatively compact but grows quickly as a climbing or trailing vine, usually reaching about 40 – 70 cm indoors with support and stable warmth.
Bright indirect light keeps the top and underside colours strongest, while watering only after the top 2 – 4 cm dry helps prevent root stress and the limp growth that follows saturation. It prefers an airy substrate, temperatures around 20 – 28 °C, moderate humidity, and should be kept away from pets and children because it contains calcium oxalate.
