Peperomia obtusifolia, commonly known as Baby Rubber Plant, has thick glossy rounded green leaves on upright branching stems. It forms a bushy evergreen plant with a sturdy semi-succulent texture and a smooth, polished leaf surface. New growth fills from the centre while older stems gradually build a rounded shape for small and medium indoor pots. The plain green leaves give the plant a simple, robust look with strong contrast against finer-leaved Peperomia varieties. Let the mix dry moderately between waterings, as the fleshy stems store moisture.
