Caladium 'Gingerland' is a compact cultivar with creamy white heart-shaped leaves, soft green margins and scattered red speckles across the blade. Its smaller, finer-textured foliage forms a dense seasonal clump from underground tubers, making the spotted pattern clear even on young plants. Give it bright filtered light, warmth around 21–29 °C and humidity above dry household levels for smooth leaf expansion. A light, airy substrate should hold gentle moisture while allowing good drainage around the tuber. As growth slows and leaves fade, watering should taper. The plant contains calcium oxalate crystals and should be kept out of reach of pets and children.
