Phlebodium aureum 'Blue Star' is an epiphytic fern with blue-green, deeply lobed fronds and creeping golden-brown rhizomes that sit near the substrate surface. The fronds arch from the crown and create a rounded fern shape. Its fuzzy rhizomes are part of the visible plant body and stay above the substrate. Gentle light, even moisture and a loose fern mix match the epiphytic rhizome growth.
