Monstera standleyana variegata is a slender climbing Monstera with elongated glossy leaves patterned in cream, white or pale yellow. The leaves are typically narrow, smooth-edged and held along clean vining stems in indoor growth. The variegation can appear as streaks, patches or narrow bands, depending on the leaf. Its sap and foliage are irritating if chewed, especially for pets and young children. Young plants can trail from a pot, while older growth can be guided upward on a pole or trellis. Bright indirect light, warmth and a loose substrate suit this variegated vine.
