Dracaena (Sansevieria) trifasciata 'Laurentii' is the classic yellow-edged snake plant, with upright green swords bordered by broad golden margins. The leaves emerge from rhizomes in firm clusters, giving the pot a clean vertical presence and a clear striped outline from floor or tabletop height. As new shoots mature, the yellow borders keep the plant visibly bright while the centre pattern stays calm. Ordinary indoor humidity is usually enough; the important care cue is an airy root zone that dries well between waterings. Keep the leaves away from chewing pets and children, as ingested Dracaena foliage can trigger nausea and stomach irritation.
