Pokon Universal Potting Soil – all-purpose base for indoor and outdoor pots
Pokon Universal Potting Soil is an all-purpose soil base for container plants. It suits many everyday repotting jobs and works as a starting point when you later add bark or mineral structure for plants that need a more open mix.
It is a practical choice for general indoor plants when pot size and watering match the plant’s uptake.
What it’s made from
- General houseplants in standard pots where the root ball matches the container size.
- As a base fraction in custom mixes when you add perlite, pumice or bark for extra structure.
- Outdoor containers where airflow and evaporation are higher than indoors.
How it fits into your setup
Avoid overpotting indoors. If the mix stays wet for long periods, reduce pot size or add structure materials to increase pore space through the root zone.

This mix is built around structure first. Use it as a complete potting mix, or blend it into a base soil to adjust airflow and drying speed.
