Nephrolepis exaltata 'Green Lady' grows into a rounded fern with fresh green fronds arching from a central crown. Each frond carries many narrow leaflets, creating a fine feathered texture that quickly gives the plant a full look in a pot or hanging planter. In raised placement the fronds can spill slightly, while a standard pot shows more of its dense mound shape. Bright filtered light, higher humidity and an airy substrate kept lightly moist suit this Boston fern cultivar. ASPCA lists Boston fern as non-toxic to cats and dogs, making it suitable for pet-aware plant collections.
