Monstera adansonii variegata 'Aurea' is a vining monkey mask plant with warm yellow variegation across naturally perforated leaves. Its colour can appear as soft marbling, streaks or larger golden sections across fresh green tissue, giving each leaf a slightly different balance. The lightweight stems can be directed upward on a pole or allowed to spill from an elevated pot, depending on how much length you want to show. Like other Monsteras, the leaves contain calcium oxalate crystals and can irritate the mouth if chewed. A bright position, steady warmth and a chunky substrate support the fine stems as they lengthen.
