Ficus benghalensis 'Audrey' is a banyan fig grown indoors for its broad green leaves, pale veins, and smooth light trunk. Young foliage has a softer, slightly matte surface before maturing into firmer, leathery leaves, giving the plant a calm indoor tree presence. It develops upright branching in a pot, with the leaf mass becoming fuller as the stem strengthens and the canopy settles. Bright filtered light, warmth, good drainage, and evenly managed moisture support healthy growth. Latex sap can appear from cut stems or damaged leaves, so skin contact and chewing by pets should be avoided.
