Codiaeum variegatum (Croton) 'Mammi' is a compact croton with narrow, twisted leaves that curl and spiral as they mature. The foliage combines green, yellow, orange, red and deep bronze tones, so the plant carries colour through both the leaf surface and the curled shape of each blade. A bright, warm position with moderate to higher humidity keeps new leaves expanding cleanly. Use a well-drained substrate with light, even moisture, allowing the top layer to dry slightly before watering again. The sap can irritate skin; use care when pruning or handling damaged stems.
