Citrus × limon 'Variegata' gives you two layers of ornament in one plant: cream-striped foliage through the year and lemons that often show green striping before ripening yellow. That combination makes it more visually expressive than a plain lemon tree, but the fruit still brings the familiar sharp flavour and kitchen usefulness you would expect from lemon.
