Ceropegia woodii variegata is a variegated String of Hearts with fine trailing stems and small heart-shaped leaves marked in green, silver, cream and soft pink, often with purple tones underneath. This tuberous, semi-succulent vine suits an airy, fast-draining mix and watering once the pot has dried well. Steady warmth, gentle airflow and a mineral-leaning substrate keep the small tubers and fine roots from staying wet for too long. Its pale colouring, thread-like stems and compact root system suit hanging pots, narrow shelves and small decorative planters where the vines trail lightly over the edge in fine strands.
