Begonia 'Looking Glass' produces oversized metallic-silver leaves cut with olive-green veins and backed by rich burgundy undersides, so the plant changes character depending on the angle from which it is viewed. The reflective surface is the main event here: in bright filtered light the foliage reads almost polished, while the darker venation stops it from becoming featureless.
Keep the substrate evenly moist but airy, use a humus-rich mix with reliable drainage, and maintain humidity above roughly 60% if you want the leaf edges to stay flat and clean. Because the leaves grow large, the plant makes the strongest impression as a focal specimen rather than as filler among busier textures. It is a good choice when you want metallic foliage without relying on spots, splashes, or heavy variegation to create impact.
