Caladium praetermissum ‘Hilo Beauty’ has large olive-green leaves broken by irregular patches of lime, cream and grey-green. The pattern resembles camouflage, with every blade carrying a different arrangement of pale islands and dark veins. The leaf undersides are greyish, and the dark bluish petioles add another distinctive colour.
