Aglaonema ‘Ivy Green’ carries broad deep-green leaves marked with pearly marbling and soft silver-green chevrons. A pronounced midrib and visible side veins guide the pattern across the smooth surface. The pale areas are subtle when viewed straight on, then become clearer as light catches the blade from the side.
Pearly marbling becomes clearer as the initially small, lightly marked leaves broaden. Later leaves gain width, a firmer leathery texture and more developed feathering while retaining plenty of rich green. Short growth between successive leaves gives young plants a compact appearance, and new basal shoots gradually increase their fullness. Mature specimens show the strongest pearly effect on older, fully hardened blades, where the fine marbling and underlying vein pattern can be seen together.
