Philodendron 'Glorious' (gloriosum x melanochrysum): Velvet texture, bright veining, and a stretched heart-shaped outline give Philodendron 'Glorious' its mature climbing shape. This hybrid combines the broad leaf base associated with gloriosum and the longer, darker blade shape associated with melanochrysum. Young plants start with softer, smaller leaves, then gain size and length as the stem climbs. On a moss pole, the stem carries leaves upward and gives new blades room to expand. The foliage contains calcium oxalate crystals, so pet-free placement is needed. Keep it warm with bright indirect light, steady moisture, and drainage.
