Homalomena sp. Papua
Strongly ribbed green leaves are crossed by pink to red veins that follow the midrib and recessed side channels. The coloured network continues into the leaf stalks, linking the blade to the base. Fresh leaves rise folded through the centre; as they open and harden, the ribs deepen and the red vein pattern becomes clearly defined across the textured surface.
