Dieffenbachia ‘Mars’ layers several greens across elongated, pointed leaves. A lighter green centre is broken by darker mottling and soft speckles, while yellow-green veins add fine lines through the pattern. The deeper green outer portions blend gradually into the softly mottled centre.
Young plants are compact and leafy, with relatively narrow blades that show the mixed green pattern clearly. As ‘Mars’ develops, the leaves become longer and fuller, and the mottling spreads into larger, more complex patches. The overall effect remains green-led and softly blended. It sits between the nearly solid darkness of ‘Green Magic’ and the high-contrast cream marbling of ‘Tropic Snow’.
