Dieffenbachia ‘Camille’ has broad oval leaves dominated by cream to pale yellow-green centres. Rich green margins surround the light area, with fine feathering and occasional green marks spreading inward. Rounded shoulders and a pointed tip give each smooth two-colour blade a soft outline.
A folded new leaf appears distinctly greener than the foliage around it. As it opens and broadens, the centre lightens and occupies more of the surface, leaving the dark border increasingly clear.
The cultivar remains relatively compact and fills out with closely grouped leaves before its short canes become obvious. Its broadest finished blades carry the greatest cream coverage and firmest texture, while the greener opening growth keeps a fresh layer of colour in the middle.
