Colocasia esculenta ‘Lemon Lime Gecko’ covers large dark-green leaves with irregular lime and yellow-green flecks. The markings range from fine spray to broad splashes and change completely from one heart-shaped blade to the next. Deep purple petioles, often streaked with paler flesh tones, add a second pattern below the foliage.
The cultivar builds a tall clump through repeated shoots from its underground base, commonly reaching around 1.2–1.4 m. Young leaves arrive as tightly rolled green spears and reveal their mottling only as they open. Later blades become broader and heavier, with larger surfaces carrying denser combinations of lime and dark green. Because every new leaf carries a fresh arrangement, an older clump becomes a varied mixture of fine lime spray, large yellow-green splashes and nearly solid dark blades.
