Caladium 'Valentina' is a captivating cultivar of Caladium (Aiton) Vent., commonly known as caladium or angel wings. Renowned for its striking foliage, this arum family member is grown exclusively for its vibrant leaves rather than its blooms. Calla-type flowers, if present, are usually concealed beneath the foliage. Caladium 'Valentina' forms clumps that can reach up to 75 cm in height, featuring arrowhead-shaped leaves in bold shades of red contrasted by deep green veins.
Thrives in warm, humid environments with dappled light, making it ideal for indoor cultivation or shaded outdoor settings.
The genus name Caladium is derived from the Latinized Malay plant-name kaladi. The species name refers to its characteristic two-toned foliage.
Add the stunning red foliage of Caladium 'Valentina' to your collection for a bold statement. Shop now to bring this vibrant plant home!
