Broad, heavy leaves form the upper part of this upright species. Their substantial surface ranges from green to cool grey-green. The reverse may deepen towards violet-purple.
Shorter leaf stalks keep their markings clearly visible below the foliage. Purple-brown dots, rings and broken stripes form an irregular pattern through the lower growth. At around 1.2 m, more of the central stem remains visible below the upper leaves.
Plant names, growth habits, natural habitats and indoor care guidance are checked against trusted botanical, habitat and horticultural references before publication.View our plant care resources and references.
