Aglaonema ‘Sunray Green’ runs a vivid lime-yellow midrib through broad lance-shaped leaves filled with lime to silver-green. Dark-green flecks interrupt the pale fields in irregular densities, producing a richly mottled surface around the continuous central stripe. Some blades retain broad clear areas; others develop much heavier green detail.
Dark-green markings separate as the bright central leaves widen and take on a more silvery cast. As each leaf widens, its darker marks separate and the light fields take on a more silvery cast, while the yellow-green midrib remains distinct from base to tip. Mature blades become smoother and firmer and develop a gentle outward curve. Closely produced basal shoots eventually create a substantial plant with the bright central line repeated through leaves of several ages and different amounts of green marking.
