Several upright shoots form a clustered plant, with older stems continuing upward while basal growth adds newer leaves lower down. This gives ‘Silver Queen’ an elongated, cane-forming outline.
Its leaves are long and narrow, with silver-grey following the lateral veins in repeated feathered bands. Green remains at the margin, around the midrib and in slim intervals between the pale sections, forming repeated pale and green stripes along the blade.
