Aglaonema ‘Romeo’ has long pointed leaves with lime to silver-green centres surrounded by dark green. The darker colour follows the margins, midrib and petioles, then breaks into fine speckles across the pale interior. These lengthwise zones emphasize the smooth blade’s narrow taper and extended pointed tip.
Continued expansion lengthens the upright blade and deepens the frame around its fresh green centre. Continued expansion lengthens the blade, deepens the dark frame and introduces a soft arch near the tip. Mature foliage remains slender and flexible, with the longest leaves contributing much of the plant’s eventual width. New basal shoots add fullness while preserving the cultivar’s elongated form, and older blades show the strongest contrast between their pale centre and deep-green outline.
