Aglaonema ‘Golden Bay’ produces long lance-shaped leaves with broad grey-green centres, darker feathering beside the veins and irregular green margins. Mature blades can reach roughly 30 cm long and 10–12 cm wide. Their smooth surface displays the cool central panel clearly, while conspicuous cream-to-white petioles add a much brighter feature below.
The grey centre widens as an initially green, upright leaf expands. The grey centre widens during expansion, and the darker vein pattern becomes more distinct as the blade firms. Numerous basal shoots can turn a single rooted stem into a dense, substantial plant. Every mature leaf repeats the same broad pale band at a slightly different width, creating natural variation while retaining a clear overall identity. The longest outer leaves develop a gentle arch as the specimen gains size.
