Aeschynanthus marmoratus is a trailing lipstick plant, botanically treated as Aeschynanthus longicaulis, with marbled leaves. In this Kokodama format, the roots sit inside a rounded moss-style ball, while the stems hang from the sides as they lengthen.
The leaves are narrow to oval and slightly fleshy. The upper surface is dark green with irregular pale markings that often follow the veins, while the undersides can show red-purple mottling.
Hang it or place it where the stems can trail freely. Soak the Kokodama when the ball feels light, let it drain well, and keep it in bright filtered light. For full care details, use the main Aeschynanthus longicaulis care page.
