Aeschynanthus longicaulis, also known in horticulture as Aeschynanthus marmoratus, is a trailing epiphytic lipstick plant with marbled green leaves on hanging stems. Darker surface patterning remains visible between flowering periods, giving the plant strong foliage detail. Mature plants can produce red-orange tubular flowers in favourable indoor conditions. Grow in bright indirect light, warm temperatures and a loose substrate that holds light moisture while allowing excess water to drain away.
