Tillandsia ionantha is a compact rosette of narrow green to silver-green leaves. Fine surface scales give each pointed blade a frosted texture. At flowering size, the central foliage may flush coral-red before small purple tubular flowers emerge, creating an intense change across a plant usually only 6–10 cm tall.
This version includes a display stand that holds the soil-free rosette upright and leaves its full outline visible. The presentation shows the narrow base, expanding leaf tuft and young offsets that may develop beside the parent. As those offsets enlarge, a single head can become a compact cluster while remaining supported above the surface. The stand is part of the product presentation; the plant itself is the standard species form.
