Philodendron ‘Splendid’ (verrucosum x melanochrysum)
Large, elongated heart-shaped leaves have a deep-green velvet surface crossed by strong pale to warm-toned veins. Rounded lower lobes remain separated by an open gap, while the upper blade narrows gradually to a long point.
The foliage increases steadily in scale along a vigorous vine that attaches by aerial roots. As later leaves lengthen, their prominent veins and matte velvet finish become more imposing without losing the broad heart-shaped base.
