Cream, pale yellow, white and mint break across green leaves as splashes, streaks and broad irregular areas. Red, pink and burgundy may colour the freshest leaf, stalk or stem, placing warm new growth beside the cooler pale pattern.
Each firm, glossy leaf has a rounded oval or gentle heart outline, a prominent central vein and a narrowing tip. As the young plant develops, its short base gives way to an upright climbing stem beneath the mixed red, green and cream foliage.
