Philodendron 'Bette Waterbury' ('69686') develops deeply lobed green leaves on a climbing stem. Mature blades can form a narrow central section, a broad lower lobe, and smaller upper lobes near the top, giving the foliage a divided outline. The surface thickens with age, and the midrib plus side veins add structure across the lobes. Young plants often start with simpler leaves before stronger blade shape appears. Aerial roots form along the nodes, and upright growth lets the adult leaf form become more pronounced over successive leaves, with each new blade adding more definition.
