Hoya pubicalyx 'Silver Splash', also sold as 'Silver Spot', is a vigorous Philippine vine with oblong, fleshy leaves dusted in silver-grey flecking that can look almost metallic in strong indirect light. Given support it can climb well past 1 m, but it also trails cleanly from hanging pots and later produces clusters of pink to reddish star-shaped flowers with a light fragrance.
Use a very free-draining mix with bark, perlite, and some organic body, then water thoroughly only after the upper layer has dried. Warm conditions around 18 – 26 °C, good light, and moderate humidity are enough for reliable growth, while constantly wet soil is the fastest way to lose roots and leaf quality. Stable placement and slight root restriction help over time when mature.
