Hoya burtoniae is a small-leaved Hoya species from Luzon in the Philippines, where it grows as a climbing epiphyte or lithophyte in wet tropical conditions. In a pot, it forms fine trailing stems with almond-shaped leaves that may show a softly textured surface and warm bronze or reddish tones in brighter positions. The small leaves sit closely along the vines and build density as branching increases. In a chunky medium, water when the upper layer has dried so the fine roots receive both moisture and air. Milky sap may appear if stems are cut.
