Variegated Euphorbia meloformis has a rounded, melon-like body divided into strong vertical ribs. Dark-green bands cross the cream surface, creating a repeated pattern around the stem. Old brown flower stalks can remain attached near the upper part of the plant.
New tissue expands from the central growing point while the body remains rounded or develops into a short column. Small offsets may eventually appear around the base and form additional banded bodies beside the parent.
