Epipremnum aureum 'N'Joy' is a compact white-green pothos with small to medium broad leaves and clearly divided patches of bright white and green. The plant has shorter internodes than standard golden pothos, so it stays more contained indoors and responds well to pruning.
The vine can trail from a pot, climb a small support, or be cut back to keep the plant dense. A cutting needs at least one node to grow into a new vine. Once rooted, cuttings can be planted back into the pot to build a fuller shape.
'N'Joy' grows with short internodes, small broad leaves, and bright white-green variegation. The white patches sit in clearer blocks rather than fine streaks.
'N'Joy' has a contained habit with short spaces between leaves. Very low light can still stretch the stems and reduce leaf size. The white areas contain little or no chlorophyll, so they can mark first in direct sun, heated dry air, or a mix with too much fertiliser residue.
The compact crown needs a potting mix that drains well and does not stay wet around the stem bases. Give the plant enough light for steady growth, but keep it away from harsh sun that can mark the white sections.
Epipremnum aureum 'N'Joy' contains calcium oxalate crystals. Eaten leaves or stems can irritate the mouth and stomach. Keep the plant away from pets and small children, and wash your hands after pruning if the sap bothers your skin.
