Dracaena trifasciata 'Silver Mist' softens the usual snake-plant look with pale silvery banding over upright sword-like leaves, creating a cooler, misted finish rather than bold high-contrast stripes. Indoors it can reach around 90 cm, though the narrow footprint keeps it versatile for both tabletops and floor placement. Bright indirect light helps maintain the pale tones, while lower light is tolerated if growth is expected to slow and the foliage deepen a little.
Allow the soil to dry completely between waterings, use a free-draining cactus or succulent mix, and keep temperatures around 18–27 °C with no need for added humidity. Overwatering is the most common cause of decline, while spider mites and mealybugs only tend to appear on stressed plants. Like other Dracaena in this group, it is mildly toxic if ingested.
