Asplenium antiquum ‘Osaka’ carries long glossy green fronds with strongly waved edges. The narrow strap-like blades rise from a central nest, and their repeated ripples create a fuller, more textured outline than the straighter species form.
Fresh fronds uncurl pale green and relatively smooth. Their margins become more deeply undulated as they lengthen and firm, while a dark central rib strengthens through the middle. Established plants can form rosettes 60 cm or more across, with upright young growth surrounded by increasingly arched mature fronds. Regular brown spore lines may appear beneath the oldest fertile blades.
