Anoectochilus roxburghii ‘Dreamcatcher’ has dark velvet leaves crossed by a dense metallic vein network. Warm copper to pink-gold lines branch repeatedly from the centre and become finest near the margin, creating a lace-like pattern over the deep background.
Opening leaves show their main veins first and gain finer cross-lines as they broaden. The surface becomes darker and more velvety during hardening, increasing the contrast on the oldest foliage. Creeping fleshy growth produces additional leafy shoots close to the original one and gradually layers several patterned blades over the substrate. Vein colour and pattern density can vary between propagated plants.
