Anoectochilus albolineatus ‘White Center’ is a trade-labelled form with a conspicuous pale field through the middle of each velvet leaf. White to silver colour follows the midrib and merges into finer branching veins, surrounded by much darker green to bronze tissue.
The central marking begins narrow on a folded new leaf and widens as the blade opens. At the same time, the outer tissue deepens in colour and develops the soft finish associated with jewel orchids. Short creeping growth adds new leafy shoots close to the substrate, gradually creating a low patch of overlapping foliage. The width and outline of the pale centre can vary between leaves, while its strong separation from the darker margin remains the trade form’s distinguishing feature.
