Slim, pointed leaves with narrow lobes define Alocasia heterophylla 'Dragon's Breath'. The upright petioles lift the elongated blades above the pot, keeping the plant compact while giving the foliage a sharp, linear profile.
Fresh leaves can look especially slender before the blade firms into a cleaner green surface with a visible midrib and pointed tip. Keep it warm in bright filtered light, and grow it in an airy aroid mix that drains well around the rhizome. Water after the upper substrate begins to dry, allowing excess water to leave the pot. This Alocasia contains calcium oxalate; keep away from pets and children.
