Alocasia cucullata ‘Golden’ carries smooth hood-shaped leaves in luminous lime to yellow-green. Rounded heart-shaped bases curve upward into shallow cups, while arching veins follow the blade toward a fine pointed tip.
New shoots rise freely from the base and add bright almost-yellow leaves among older chartreuse and deeper-green foliage. Continued branching creates a broad clump roughly 80–100 cm tall. Mature leaves become wider and more strongly cupped, yet retain their clean glossy surface. Several ages of growth remain visible together, spreading the golden colour through the entire many-stemmed plant.
