Alocasia ‘Bambino Arrow’ Pink Variegata has narrow green leaves with pale veins and irregular blush markings. It stays compact, with arrow-shaped blades on slender petioles.
New leaves can differ noticeably from one another, with some blades showing more green and others carrying stronger pale or pink areas. The green parts photosynthesise and feed the rhizome, which the plant uses for the next leaf.
Alocasia ‘Bambino Arrow’ Pink Variegata follows the compact growth pattern of the Bambino Arrow group. “Pink Variegata” describes the pink-toned variegation over the narrow Bambino Arrow leaf shape.
Older leaves with green tissue can still feed the plant, so leave them on while they stay firm. After transport, repotting or a light change, warmth and an airy mix reduce the risk of wet, damaged roots while new leaves form.
Alocasia ‘Bambino Arrow’ Pink Variegata contains irritating calcium oxalate crystals. Keep it out of reach of pets and children, and wash your hands after pruning or repotting.
Choose this form for compact Alocasia leaves with blush markings that vary from leaf to leaf.
