Aglaonema 'Stripes' is a hybrid Chinese evergreen with long, patterned leaves marked by silvery-white bands along the lateral veins. It grows as an upright clump from short stems, and each new leaf adds a clear linear pattern to the crown.

The leaves are long and oval, with green areas between the pale vein bands. As the crown fills out and older leaves settle around the base, the plant develops a neat vertical rhythm in a pot.

Aglaonema 'Stripes' was released as a Florida foliage plant cultivar from a cross between Aglaonema 'Manila' and Aglaonema nitidum 'Curtisii'. Its pattern combines strong silvery-white bands along the side veins with softer silver patterning in the same area.

In indoor pots, 'Stripes' develops as a steady, medium-sized foliage plant. The long leaves give the plant vertical presence, while the clumping base keeps it stable in a container.

• Light: Grow in medium to bright filtered light. Strong direct sun can roughen or bleach the silver bands.
• Watering: Water when the top 3–4 cm of mix has dried. Keep the root ball lightly moist during active growth.
