Aglaonema ‘Red Zircon’ has short, thick leaves centred on jewel-pink and red. A narrow deep-green border surrounds each compact oval-to-lance-shaped blade, and small green flecks gather near the edge. The glossy surface intensifies the warm colour and gives the foliage a polished, almost lacquered appearance.
Coral-pink leaves gain breadth and richer colour while preserving their short proportions. Their colour becomes richer as the tissue firms, and the fine green divisions grow more distinct. Later foliage gains breadth but keeps the cultivar’s short proportions and pointed tip. Continued growth produces a small, dense plant whose mature leaves feel noticeably substantial for their size, with bright pink concentrated through the centre and dark green confined mainly to the margins.
