Xmas tree - Picea pungens “Super Blue”
Picea pungens ‘Super Blue’ is a living blue spruce with stiff needles arranged around every shoot. A waxy coating gives the young conical tree its intense silver-blue colour.
This outdoor conifer will continue growing into a large tree. Its roots and branches need more space each year.
For a Christmas display indoors, keep it briefly in a cool bright position and maintain even moisture in the well-drained root ball. Afterwards, place the tree in a cool sheltered spot for a short transition before moving it outdoors.
